What was the highlight of Blue Horizon Hotel
«Tra aereoporto e Rodi, ideale per brevi soggiorni»
L'hotel è una grande struttura al centro del piccolo villaggio di Ialiaso, molto carino, a metà fra l'aereoporto e Rodi. Comodo per chi deve soggiornare vicino ad una di queste località per poco tempo. Le camere sono pulite e la formula mezza pensione è ottima, con possibilità di cambiare pranzo e cena. Il buffet è ricco e vario, ottima sopratutto la colazione. Noi avevamo la camera nella struttura principale con vista mare, ma consiglio i bungalow, sia come posizione che come strutture (più moderne). L'hotel fornisce asciugamani da mare che vengono cambiati ogni 3 giorni e nelle camere ogni giorno ci sono asciugamani puliti. La camera ha letti singoli accostati.
Raggiungere l'hotel con i mezzi pubblici non è semplice. La fermata dell'autobus non è vicinissima e con le valigie diventa faticoso, consiglio di trovare un'alternativa per raggiungerlo e successivamente spostarsi con il bus o noleggiare uno scooter (Rodi è vicina). Nei corridoi dell'hotel c'è la moquette e benchè venga pulita dal personale dell'hotel, non è proprio l'ideale. L'unica piscina è la stessa usata per l'animazione e non c'è l'area relax. Al mare i lettini costano 4 euro l'uno e davvero fatico a capire perche vengono dati i teli da mare per poi far pagare il lettino. L'hotel si trova nel paradiso degli sport acquatici (windsurf ecc), ma non ci sono convenzioni per il noleggio ed è tutto extra. L'hotel si trova sulla rotta di atterraggio degli aerei ed è un continuo sentirli sopra la testa, di giorno e di notte; considerate che quando sorvolano la struttura hanno già il carrello abbassato. Il campo da tennis è in cemento e va bene per giocare, ma ci sono qualche buca da sistemare. In generale l'hotel è un buon punto di partenza per visitare Rodi che dista solo 7 km, ma consiglio di fare solo un soggiorno breve.

«Funzionale alle nostre esigenze»
Albergo nuovo e confortevole. Colazione molto varia e abbondante, camera nuovissima e tecnologica, veramente comoda.
Purtroppo il tratto di spiaggia su cui affaccia l'hotel non è un gran che. I lettini in spiaggia si pagano a parte, questo non mi è piaciuto.
